If you leave your Eskie alone for as many as 5 to 8 hours, it will be fine, but if you leave it alone for longer than 8 hours, it will start to bark and maybe even howl.

White American Eskimo dogs require a lot of grooming, daily brushing, coat trimming to keep it neat, are nececcary. American Eskimo dogs also have a double coat. Tear stains need to be carefully removed with a clean and wet towel that hasent been used yet. Its nails need to be trimmed once every couple of months. Dental care is very important for American Eskimo dogs. Train your young eskimo puppy to accept its teeth brushed. To brush you Eskies teeth, you can only use canine tooth paste that is safe for dogs.
